AB InBev has an online whistleblower hotline portal. The AB InBev whistleblower hotline can be accessed here.
ASML Compliance Hotline
ASML Holdings has a whistleblower hotline operated by a third party. The ASML hotline is available here. ASML also allows whistleblowers to submit information to the email: ethicsoffice@asml.com
AstraZeneca Compliance Hotline
AstraZeneca has a whistleblower hotline operated by AstraZeneca. The AstraZeneca hotline can be accessed here. Reports can also be made to: 1-866-993-8442
Banco Santander
Banco Santander has an online whistleblower hotline portal which it calls a Canal Abierto (Open Channel). Compliance violations can be reported through the Canal Abierto here. *Beware of an unaffiliated reporting hotline advertised by AllVoices. This hotline is not assocaited with Banco Santander.*
BHP Billiton Compliance Hotline
BHP has an online whistleblower hotline portal available here. BHP also provides email and phone contact details to report ethics violations here.
Braskem Compliance Hotline

Honda Compliance Hotline
Honda claims to have an “ethics hotline” but we could not verify or locate information publicly on how to access it.
HSBC Compliance Hotline
HSBC does not appear to provide public access to a compliance or whistleblower hotline. HSBC policies direct employees to submit their concerns to their manager, or through “HSBC Confidential.”
ICICI Bank Compliance Hotline
ICICI has a whistleblower policy published on its website. The bank states that compliance violations can be reported by following links on the bank’s intranet homepage. We were not able to verify that these links exist.
InfoSys Compliance Hotline
InfoSys has an online whistleblower hotline portal which is available here. InfoSys also advises that ethics violations can be reported to whistleblower@infosys.com, or to the Chief Compliance Officer at complianceoffice@infosys.com
Landec Compliance Hotline
Landec claims to have an ‘ethics hotline’ but we could not verify or find any information on where to access the hotline.
Nio Inc. Compliance Hotline
Nio has 24/7 regional whistleblower hotlines, an online portal and a dedicated email address (compliance@nio.com) that can be used to report ethics and compliance violations. Good job Nio!
Novo Nordisk Compliance Hotline

Novartis Compliance Hotline

Royal Dutch Shell has an online whistleblower hotline portal. The Shell whistleblower hotline can be accessed here.
Smith & Nephew Compliance Hotline
Smith & Nephew has a whistleblower hotline for reporting compliance violations which can be accessed through the company’s compliance portal here.
Sony Compliance Hotline
Sony claims to have a compliance hotline but does not appear to provide public access to the hotline. Sony states in its Code of Conduct that information on the Sony Ethics & Compliance hotline can be obtained via the Sony company intranet.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) Compliance Hotline
TSMC does not appear to have a publicly available whistleblower hotline. According to TSMC company policy, complaints can be submitted to the Company Ombudsman through the company’s internal employee website.
Takeda Pharmaceutical Compliance Hotline

Vale has a whistleblower hotline where ethics violations can be reported by phone. Information on the numbers to dial for each region are available here.
What Are Corporate Whistleblower Hotlines?
Corporate compliance hotlines allow for employees, third parties, and stakeholders within that organization to report any issues with FCPA compliance or other potential illegal activity. Oftentimes, an organization will have a compliance team dedicated to investigating these reports. Providing an easy way for internal reporting of wrongdoing can help these companies avoid reputational damage as well as hefty fines.
Where potential illegal activity is involved, it is always safest to consult a lawyer prior to reporting to any hotline, whether it’s the SEC whistleblower hotline or belongs to the company you work for. Whistleblowers are often fired or ostracized for reporting their company’s crimes. Some companies may even try to hide or cover their retaliation under the guise of restructuring or similar excuses.
